ABOUT MARY FRANKLIN (from Hyperspace News)

Fans may recognize Franklin from her regular Star Wars Insider contributions as the editor of Bantha Tracks. As the Events Manager for Lucasfilm, Mary coordinated and produced Celebration II III, and IV. For these epic events her duties included contacting guests, coordinating stage staff, planning and executing all programming including stages, films and film presentations, panels, the Fan Club lounge, kids' room, art show, Celebration at Celebration III, Fan Film Award Ceremony, opening ceremonies, Fan Fair Exhibit hall, and working with the archivists for the Lucasfilm Archive Exhibit, the entertainers, MCs, collecting panel coordinator, autograph subcontractors, volunteers, exhibition service staff, catering, and more to help bring the show all together.

She's also produced the Lucasfilm presence at San Diego Comic-Con (2005 & 2007), which included organizing the Star Wars pavilion, working with licensees, and with all Star Wars programming at the show. She also plans the Fan Club Breakfasts. In addition to the fan events, Franklin creates the Fan Club Kits by working with licensees for their contributions and ideas.
