Spooky Science Laboratory Halloween Party 10 am - 4 pm FREE with General Admission Bats, spiders and slime - oh my! Spooky punch for all and lots of ghoulish fun! Guest appearance by the Astro Wizard and special costumed friends from the 501st Golden Gate Garrison. Lunar Lounge Express Halloween Party 8-11pm Costumed volunteers from the 501st Golden Gate Garrison, the Fan Force, and Rebel Legion were on hand wearing Star Wars, Star Trek, & Planet of The Apes gear. Guests were able to party under the stars and enjoy an evening of live
music, a SonicVision or live planetarium show, telescope viewing, hands-on
exhibits, giveaways and outta-this-world fun! Musical Guest - Flying Venus Star Wars Original Trilogy DVD Release
Fans celebrated the release of the Original Star Wars Trilogy on DVD at the Virgin Megastore in San Francisco. We finally have the chance to own an official release of the original version of the Star Wars Trilogy, the way we remember it! The new Lego video game based on the original trilogy characters was also released Monday night. Fans dressed in costumes, participated in trivia contests, and won free giveaways in a raffle. WHEN: Monday, September 11 at 9 pm until 12:01 am WHERE: the Virgin Megastore in San Francisco WIN PRIZES: Fans won Star Wars character Standees, a Master Replicas Lightsaber, Star Wars Soundtrack CD, Posters, T-shirts and much more! Special thanks to Mary Franklin (manager of Lucasfilm fan events), Master Replicas, Advanced Graphics, Virgin Megastore, Super 7, and Matt Tolosa for donating prizes and free giveaways. Disneyland Star Wars Fan Day Star Wars fans from Southern California chapters of the Fan Force, Rebel Legion, and 501st attended the Second Annual Unofficial Disneyland Star Wars Fan Day. Star Wars "Unity" Group Gathering Scott Simpson, the CO of the Central California 501st Garrison, hosted a mulit-group fan gathering at his home in Hilmar. Attendees enjoyed the abundant potulck BBQ and had a great time reconnecting with fellow Northern and Central Valley California Star Wars fans. The event also featured the debut live action lightsaber combat performance of Balance Of Power. Location: Hilmar, CA.

Sac-Con Sac-Con is Sacramento's Comic, Toy and Anime Show. For more information view the web site at sacramentocomics.com SCOTTISH RITE CENTER Raiders Of The Lost Ark Screening SF Fan Force members got together for the midnight and afternoon showings of this George Lucas classic on the big screen! WonderCon 06 WonderCon is the first major comics convention of the year, and Star Wars fans were out in full force for this event! The annual convention features exhibits and guests from the world of comics, film, television and anime.
Dancing at the Cat Club's "1984" Dinner at Mel's Diner was followed by an evening of dancing to 80's tunes at the Cat Club in San Francisco.
The Charles Schultz Museum and Ice Skating The Fan Force took a day trip to the Charles M. Schultz Museum in Santa Rosa to see the Sugar and Spice: Little Girls in the Funnies exhibit. The museum tour was followed by lunch at the Warm Puppy cafe and skating at the Redwood Empire Ice Arena.
Angelica's 10th Birthday Party The SF Fan Force celebrated it's youngest member's birthday at the Yerba Bueana Bowling Center on February 3rd. Thanks to everyone who helped make Angelica's birthday a day to remember!
