One Man Star Wars Trilogy Three movies. One man. And a galaxy far, far away. THE HIT SOLO SHOW 14 PERFORMANCES ONLY FEBRUARY 27 MARCH 11 PHOTOS
SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. (January 31, 2007) - Star Wars fans, dust off your Storm Trooper costumes and your light sabers, because after taking North America by storm, solo performer Charles Ross brings his hit show One Man Star Wars Trilogy to San Francisco for two weeks only, February 27 through March 11, at the Post Street Theatre! Charles Ross One Man Star Wars Trilogy is a hilarious, high energy, nonstop blast through the original Star Wars trilogy, but with one catch: there's only one cast member, Charles Ross. This writer and solo performer spent way too much of his childhood in a galaxy far, far away and continues to spend his adulthood there. Ross plays all the characters, recreates the effects, sings the music, flies the ships, and fights both sides of the light saber battles, making for a side-splitting evening. Ross has performed his one-man tour de force across the globe, from Toronto to Edinburgh, Dublin to Dubai, winning critics over everywhere he goes. The Chicago Sun-Times hails Ross performance as wild, effortlessly energetic... he nails the tiny details that fans obsess over, while the Associated Press calls his impersonations dead-on. Time Out New York says his imitations are comical and energetic and The Village Voice, Ross projects more raw energy than a light saber. In the fall of 2006, Ross made his smash debut in the West End of London and embarks on a tour of Australia in March. Charles Ross is a Canadian actor who has followed his heart and his career from one side of the continent to the other. Since first performing his One Man Star Wars Trilogy in Toronto in January of 2001, Ross has brought countless audiences, both large and small, to their feet with his surprisingly unique shows. Hes made appearances on The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson, The Today Show, and Late Night with Conan O'Brien. His off-Broadway debut in August 2005 was a smashing success with critics raving about the incredible intensity that Charles brings to his work. To mark the release of Star Wars: Episode 3: Revenge of the Sith, Charles was honored to perform at Lucasfilm's official movie release convention, Celebration 3. Even the likes of Vin Diesel and Sir Ian McKellen have taken in his performances with rave reviews. The Rose Parade Star Wars fans from all over the world converged on Pasadena, CA to participate
in the Nationally televised Tournament of Roses Parade. LucasFilm Ltd
had a 3 part entry which was comprised of the Grambling State Tigers marching
band, an army or Stormtroopers, Imperial Officers, a Hero Squad, an Endor
float, and a float representing the Garden Planet of Naboo. Special congratulations go to these SFFF members and friends: elmoizme - Marched with the 501st as a Stormtrooper Back To Upcoming SFFF Events »
